About Our Providers

 
Dr. Eberting graduated Cum Laude from Brigham Young University and graduated with honors from the University of Utah School of Medicine.  She did her internship at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah.  Her Dermatology residency was in Providence, Rhode Island at Roger Williams Medical Center (an affiliate of Boston University). 

Following this, Dr. Eberting did a clinical research fellowship in the Dermatology Branch of the National Cancer Institute at the National Institutes of Health in Bethesda, Maryland.  Dr. Eberting is a Board Certified Dermatologist and a fellow of the American Association of Dermatology, National Institues of Health, and Nationl Cancer Institute.

Prior to setting up her practice in Alpine, Utah, Dr. Eberting practiced dermatology for two years in Phoenix, Arizona.  Dr. Eberting grew up in the Seattle, Washington area and comes from a large family.  She spent alot of time in Asia and served as a missionary for the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Fukuoka, Japan. 

She helped fund her medical school education by starting and running an import company, Nature's Handmade Paper, LLC.  It was sold in 2004.  Dr. Eberting is fluent in Japanese and speaks some Spanish.  She enjoys spending time with her husband and children.
 


        
Steve received his bachelor of science in exercise physiology from Brigham Young University.  He then went on to receive his master of medical science degree and physician assistant diploma from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.  During his undergraduate studies, Steve worked as a rehabilitation therapist in the cardiac rehabilitation department at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center.  After earning his PA and master’s degree he worked in family practice and urgent care in both Wyoming and California. 

During his time in California, Steve was a member of the National Health Service Corps and worked in a remote location in the Tahoe National Forest, providing health care to the people of rural Sierra County.  He has been a medical provider at county jails in California and Wyoming, and Utah.  Steve is a native of southwest Wyoming and enjoys all things recreational and outdoors with his family.  He served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Sydney, Australia.  Steve now lives with his wife and three children in Highland, Utah.

 Steve returned to Utah to work at Alpine Dermatology.  He is a board certified physician assistant and is a fellow of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, the Utah Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Steve is a specialist in the treatment of difficult cases of acne.  He has extensive experience with Accutane, light treatments for acne, and every acne treatment in between.  If you have acne, he can help you to fix it! 
 
Steve also offers several treatment options for warts, including immunotherapy with squaric acid dibutyl ester.   Steve also specializes in full body skin exams, mole checks, alopecia, rosacea, eczema, diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers, age spots, facial veins, melasma and psoriasis.  He has been extensively trained under Dr. Eberting in the diagnosis and treatment of all diseases of the skin, hair and nails.


Danielle has been interested in beauty and aesthetics since she was very young. She followed her passion and graduated top of her aesthetics class at The Skin Institute in St. George Utah.  She then went on to get her master license and trained extensively in medical dermatology and aesthetics, as well as laser technology.

Danielle is certified in the Sciton and Fraxel laser systems. She has had extensive training directly from Dr. Eberting and is very knowledgeable in cosmetic and medical dermatology.  She enjoys helping her clients achieve beautiful, healthy skin and works alongside our physician and physician assistant to provide the best service in skin care.
 
Danielle specializes in non-prescription remedies for acne including light treatments, chemical peels and laser treatments.  If you are unable to take prescription medications because you may be pregnant, breast feeding, or are trying to get pregnant, or if you are allergic to many prescription medications, then Danielle will work with Dr. Eberting and you to develop a customized plan that will be safe and effective.
 
Danielle also specializes in laser hair removal and fractional resurfacing procedures, under the supervision of Dr. Eberting.  Using our new Sciton system, Danielle can deliver laser hair removal options that work--even if you have dark skin.  She also offers fractional laser treatments for sagging, wrinkled, aging skin and for melasma that deliver fabulous results.
